The sixth day ― 2011/05/05

We did not have any bites today, but we saw
a peaceful-looking turtle.

I also took a picture of a hitozura-harisennbon,
which is a porcupine fish that looks like a human face.

At the beginning of a safety stop, we saw a school of
barracudas and a school of big-eye trevally merging.
About the barracudas, they were very big in size and
there was more than 100 of them. We were able to
watch them for a while, and they went down further
into the depths.

For lunch today we had tonjiru, which is miso soup
with pork and vegetables, and for dinner we had tonkatsu,
a breaded pork cutlet. Today’s meals were full of pork.

Unfortunately, I have not seen a full sunset yet on this trip.
