THE MERRY WIDOW ― 2008/07/05
I went to see the operetta "Merry Widow". It was full of the Kansai taste. I really enjoyed it. I am happy that I live in Hyogo, not Osaka(^^)
At first, the master ZAKOBA(桂ざこば） dressed as the MAESTRO appeared. And he explained about outline of the story. Until that time, I had been thinking what would he do on the operetta. And then I thought it was nice idea to beginners of opera. He acted a steward, on the other hand made the progress humorously.
The other essence was TAKARAZUKA taste. There was a silver bridge (銀橋）famous for the special feature of TAKARAZUKA. Also I could here a song of TAKARAZUKA (愛あればこそ） by OG(平みち）. Though there were not any stairs, the grand finale looked like TAKARAZUKA's. In the last, the MAESTRO (佐渡裕） wore a stole made by pink feather and sang a song. At that time ZAKOBA conducted instead of MAESTRO.
