I went to a recital by Atsuko Hirosawa today.

The first half of the program featured tales of legendary heroines. They were Zuleika, Mary, and Jeanne d’Arc.

The second half of the program was in Japanese. All the songs were great, and I stood in admiration of her effort. She sang all of the songs from memory.
