I went to the regular concert of the OSAKA Philharmonic Orchestra. My friend sang as one of the chorus members. The conductor was Kazuyoshi Akiyama, 68 years old. Mozart(Haffner) and Delius, they were performed before the main, they were wonderful too. Then the main, Oratorio "Belshazzar's Feast" of Walton was absolutely a great musical performance. The Orchestra (formed large) and the chorus and the conductor, their feeling and power and technique seemed to match in perfect condition each other.
